從兒時羅東的塵土中,聽見琵琶的第一次回聲 The First Echo: Where Childhood Dreams Took Root in the Dust of Luodong.
千金散盡還復來的另一個青梅竹馬版本,故事就從1967年在宜蘭的羅東小鎮說起。那年有三個同年生的小孩,第一個是林慧寬家裡開貨運公司、另一個是江宗鴻家裡也開貨運公司,還有王麗君家裡是汽車材料商。這三個小孩的家庭共同背景都是沒有文化! 但卻熱愛音樂。林慧寬彈琵琶、江宗鴻愛唱歌、王麗君彈鋼琴,原本歲月靜好的日子,直至三位青年都經歷了家族經商失敗破產的沉浮,從此失去聯絡,各自奔波逐夢。
等到再次碰面時,林慧寬已是國際級琵琶演奏家、江宗鴻已是聲樂家/劇場工作者、王麗君則是鋼琴家。這份「散盡」的經歷,直到多年後彼此才意識到沒有合體演出過,於是由江宗鴻先生引領的「百人團」團隊,首次邀請林慧寬的加入,開啟了一場與霧峰林家第九代林俊明先生的跨界合作:將進酒-再起之飲。
From Rags to Riches and Back: The Childhood Trio's Reunion
This is a different, more personal version of the classic "A thousand pieces of gold scattered, then regained" story, centered around three childhood friends.
The story begins in 1967 in the small town of Luodong, Yilan. That year, three children, all born the same year, became fast friends: there was Lin Hui-Kuan, whose family ran a freight company; Chiang Tsung-Hung, whose family also owned a freight business; and Wang Li-Chun, whose family were auto parts dealers.
Their families shared a common background—they weren't part of the cultural elite—but all three children shared a deep passion for music: Hui-Kuan played the Pipa (Chinese lute), Tsung-Hung loved to sing, and Li-Chun played the piano.
Their peaceful childhood came to an abrupt end when all three youths experienced the devastating blow of their respective families going bankrupt. They lost contact, each forced to chase their dreams independently.

古老的《將進酒》從不只是李白紙上獨有的感性,四句「人生得意須盡歡,莫使金樽空對月。天生我材必有用,千金散盡還復來。」既是林慧寬琴音當中淬鍊出的堅韌,也是這座歷經風雨、見證過時代興衰的霧峰林家宮保第,共同開啟的一趟「尋家」創作之路。
The ancient poem, Jiāng Jìn Jiǔ (Bring in the Wine), is far more than just Li Bai's sensibility on paper.
Its four iconic lines—"When life is at its best, seize the day and make merry; never let your goblet face the moon empty. Heaven gave me the talent; a thousand pieces of gold scattered will return."—these words embody the resilience forged in Lin Hui-Kuan's Pipa music.
They also perfectly describe the journey of self-discovery and "seeking home" undertaken by the Wufeng Lin Family's Gongbao Di (Palace of the Grand Guardian)—a historic site that has witnessed the rise and fall of ages.
Together, they are embarking on a creative path rooted in this powerful spirit of enduring hardship and reclaiming one's worth.

林慧寬,一位與琵琶相伴超過30年的國際級演奏家,於16歲開始接觸琵琶,儘管她非科班出身,卻用三十餘年的熱忱,將琵琶從《彝族舞曲》的暢銷旋律,推向國際現代藝術的前沿。不僅於1991年創立了采風樂坊,更在文化大學國樂系播下新思維的種子、擔任 C-CAMERATA (台北中央C室內樂團) 團長,持續推動室內樂的發展。她長年與不同風格作曲家及表演藝術界人士跨界合作,包含許多頂尖國際團隊:奧地利維也納現代樂團 (Klangforum、Music Lab)、荷蘭現代樂團 (Nieuw Ensemble Amsterdam)、北德廣播交響樂團 (NDR Symphony Orchestra)、法國現代樂團 (Ensemble 2e2m) 等。
曾以小提琴弓演奏琵琶、持琴走動舞台的林慧寬,只為證明「沒有什麼演奏技法是她不敢嘗試的」,無疑是「百人團」跨界匯流的版圖中,「才華無問出處」的最好證明。她不只是傳統的繼承者,更是技法上無畏的探索者,如此定義了「琵琶新語彙」。她的藝術,早已證明了「天生我材必有用」,是生命中那份最堅韌的溫暖底氣。
Lin Hui-Kuan is an internationally acclaimed Pipa (Chinese lute) performer who has dedicated over 30 years to the instrument.
Although she didn't come from a traditional conservatory background, her three decades of passion propelled the Pipa beyond popular tunes like Dance of the Yi People and straight onto the cutting edge of international contemporary art.
Hui-Kuan is a true pioneer: she founded the Chai Found Music Workshop in 1991, planted seeds of new musical thought at Chinese Culture University’s Chinese Music Department, and currently serves as the director of the C-CAMERATA (Taipei Central C Chamber Orchestra), continuously driving chamber music development.
She has a long history of cross-disciplinary collaboration with composers and artists globally, including top international ensembles such as the Vienna Modern Orchestra (Klangforum, Music Lab), the Nieuw Ensemble Amsterdam, the NDR Symphony Orchestra, and Ensemble 2e2m in France.
Hui-Kuan is famous for unconventional techniques, like playing the Pipa with a violin bow or walking around the stage while performing. This fearless approach proves that "there is no playing technique she dares not try."
She is undoubtedly the perfect symbol within the "Hundred-Person Troupe" of how "talent knows no origin." More than a guardian of tradition, she is a brave innovator who has truly defined the "new vocabulary of the Pipa." Her art is the living proof of the saying, "Heaven gave me the talent," representing the most resilient and warm fortitude in life.

從獨自輸出,到雙向共振 From Solo Output to Dual Resonance: A Stage Reborn.
兩條原本獨自前行的軌跡,因一次百人團的邀請,重新讓這個介於古今之間、全台唯一的福州式戲台再次上演了一場只屬於兩位「林家」的故事交織。
一位是以琵琶為生命語言、能量收放自如的演奏者──林慧寬; 一位是肩負場域願景、以敘事與情感為指南的守護者──林俊明。
Two separate journeys, two unique paths, were brought together by an invitation from the "Hundred-Person Troupe," allowing this unique, Fuzhou-style historical stage—a blend of ancient and modern—to host a story exclusively woven by two individuals bearing the surname Lin.
One is Lin Hui-Kuan, an international Pipa virtuoso who speaks the language of music and masterfully controls the flow of energy. The other is Lin Chun-Ming, the custodian of the venue’s vision, guided by narrative and emotion.

首次踏上演出舞台的林俊明董事長,就像是一張已具輪廓、卻未上色的白紙,身為舞台上的新人,他在本能的敘事中展現出了自己的節奏;

彷彿正在等待某種能真正啟動生命感的能量,
為整個舞台注入靈魂。
Chairman Lin Chun-Ming, making his debut on this historic stage, was like a piece of paper with a perfect outline but no color. As a newcomer to the performance realm, he displayed his own rhythm in his instinctive storytelling.
Yet, the overall atmosphere was still cloaked in an unbroken "Stillness." It was as if the stage were waiting for an infusion of energy that could truly awaken its spirit and inject vitality into the whole scene.

慧寬老師的到來,為接下來的排練開啟了一個可容納情感與共鳴的器皿。老師總能在呼吸與即興之間收束自身光芒,化為無形的襯托,將林俊明董事長的情感托舉至更鮮明的層次。
她所演奏的每一個音,不為自己,而為整體的流動而生。
有了這份能量的加持,將演出不再限於「呈現」層次,而得以在瞬間觸動觀眾的「情感引線」。
慧寬老師的示範了,讓俊明董事長有了「先感動自己,再讓能量自然延伸出去」啟發,這場相遇成為了百人團的第一個重要實驗轉折,它不僅是一次演奏與吟唱的演出合作,更是彼此尋找內心,找到回家路上的一場對話。
Lin Hui-Kuan’s arrival created a receptive vessel of emotion and resonance for the rehearsals that followed.
The Pipa master had a unique gift: she could harness her own light in a breath—or in a moment of improvisation—and transform it into an invisible support. This elevation brought Chairman Lin Chun-Ming's emotions to a much more vivid and clear level.
Every note she played was not for her own spotlight, but was born for the overall flow and harmony.
With this energy boost, the performance transcended mere "presentation" and instantly became capable of pulling the audience's "emotional triggers."
Lin Hui-Kuan’s demonstration inspired Chairman Lin Chun-Ming to adopt the philosophy: "Move yourself first, then let the energy naturally flow outwards." This encounter became a significant turning point for the Hundred-Person Troupe's first major experiment—it was more than a performance of music and chanting; it was a profound dialogue where two individuals searched their inner selves and found their way home.

Ultimately, we realized the meaning of this experiment went far beyond a successful performance: The grandeur of Jiāng Jìn Jiǔ isn't just about singing loudly; it’s about finding your way home even after facing setbacks. This collision of disciplines proved the conviction that "talent knows no origin," perfectly blending individual courage, historical depth, and professional energy.
